Vintage B.J. Bourg on wheels with more twists and turns you can throw at a story-line. This time Clint and his fiance, Chief of Police Susan Wilson are investigating the death of a local businessman. Not only is the case going no where fast, it seems like his mom has been keeping a few dark secrets of her own that turns Clint's world proverbially up-side-down. Just as well he has Susan to steady him as he investigates hidden family secrets and who murdered the businessman. I love me some Clint - he's one of the best characters ever written and I recommend this great series :)

I have enjoyed every one of the five Clint Wolf Novels. Each one held my interest and you could not figure who done it within the first chapter. A very refreshing series.
I have nothing but praise for this writer. His books are fast moving, engaging and well thought out. He is one of the few authors in which I will buy his books as soon as they come out, based on past books. This book did not disappoint!
This author did it again! An very exciting book. I love his books and characters. The characters are real and the twists are abundant and keeps you guessing.
Compares very favorably to other police and crime procedural series I've read. I'm a fan of series with characters that carry over and Mr. Bourg doesn't disappoint. Characters and plots are believable and the Kindle versions are very affordable. Money well spent.
Highly recommend this series and any book by bj bourg they’re all great reads!
